I have a bittersweet announcement in regards to my Georgia-based practice.
I will be relocating out-of-state at the end of January 2019 so I will be transitioning my in-person practice in Georgia to a video-based practice. I do intend on visiting Georgia once a quarter in order to see clients in-person, though. I will be continuing to make edits to my website over the next few weeks to reflect these changes.
I have had the pleasure of working with so many wonderful people during my time at Wellspring Counseling Center and am appreciative beyond words for all of the kindness I have seen while practicing here. I consider this practice a second home and feel so sad to be leaving it behind. My moving also means that I will no longer be able to facilitate the weekly Transmasculine Support Group and the bi-weekly Poly Support Group. I truly hope that the members of both groups will continue to utilize each other for support even though these group will no longer be held.
I want to thank everyone in Georgia from the bottom of my heart. From clients to other clinicians, you all are the reason I am continuing to grow in what I do and explore new paths. This transition is definitively a large undertaking but I am so happy to have such an amazing opportunity in a new state!
Keep on the lookout for new updates regarding my physical practice opening later this year in Colorado!
With the holidays rapidly approaching, I want to remind everyone that some of my regularly scheduled groups will be effected! The following groups will be cancelled due to decreased holiday hours:
Just a bit of an update: I will be out of the office between September 19th and September 26th. This means that I will be unavailable via phone and email during my normal office hours but will respond to messages as soon as I'm back on September 27th.
This also means that a few of my weekly and bi-weekly groups will be effected. The following groups WILL NOT be held during my absence:
My normal office schedule will resume prior to and following these dates.
I am so honored to have been a part of Atlanta Poly Weekend 2018. There was such a wealth of talent and knowledge woven into this conference, you could truly feel it across every single day.
I presented two different classes during this year's conference: Care and Feeding of the Poly Person & The Dark Side of Poly. Care and Feeding of the Poly Person explored how defining your boundaries, creating personal autonomy, and developing skills to communicate your truth can positively impact your relationships while The Dark Side of Poly shed light on commonly held fears in poly relationships and took a look at common reasons behind these dark side poly terms.
For those that attended my classes and are interested in reading over the presentations again, I have attached a PDF copy of both power points to this blog post.
Feel free to connect with me regarding any questions or comments you had concerning either presentation!
